Are there any precautions before the procedure?
For the lips, moisturizing care is the most important. If there are picked scabs or dead skin, the pigment may not go in evenly. Please keep the lips moisturized by applying a tube-type lip balm frequently, and 7 days before the procedure, apply plenty of lip balm before bed and remove any swollen dead skin once in the morning. Scrubbing right before the procedure can make the skin sensitive, so please avoid doing it in advance. If the procedure is done while dead skin remains, pain, patchiness, or uneven peeling may occur, and doing the procedure over dead skin that will come off is meaningless. Please keep this in mind and take good care of moisturizing.
How long does the procedure take?
The Jelly Lip Bone procedure itself is short, about 20 minutes, and the total time including consultation and anesthesia is about 1 hour.
Can I eat after the procedure?
Yes, you can eat right after the procedure. However, we recommend foods that are easy to eat in one bite, such as kimbap or sushi, so that food does not touch your lips as much as possible. For about a week after the procedure, please avoid greasy, spicy, or hot foods as much as possible.
Is it possible even if I have dark lips or pigmentation?
Yes, it is possible. We perform neutralization based on the color and depth of the existing pigmentation and the condition of the lips. If the pigmentation is shallow, noticeable changes may be seen with just one session, and deeper pigmentation will gradually become brighter and more even with additional sessions. We provide customized guidance on the number of sessions and color based on each person's lip base.
Is the treatment very painful?
Charum systematically manages pain and applies anesthesia in stages, up to a second round if needed. It is not a completely painless procedure, but for most people it is at a tolerable level, and unless there are special issues such as your condition on the day or drinking alcohol, most patients are able to complete the procedure without difficulty.
Reservation and Payment
Your reservation will be confirmed after the deposit is paid.
The remaining amount is paid on-site on the day of your visit, and a 10% VAT will be applied separately for card payments.
