Did you see today’s weather forecast? There was news of sleet nationwide.
When I talk with patients in the clinic, they seem to worry especially on days like this.
It’s humid and muggy outside, but indoors the heater runs all day, so the skin’s surface gets greasy while the inside becomes parched, making ‘dehydrated skin’ symptoms worse.
At times like this, the first treatment that comes to mind for me is the Laetigen effect.

Why does Laetigen come to mind just from hearing the weather forecast?
When the weather changes suddenly, the skin barrier is affected first.
If there isn’t enough collagen, which acts as a pillar inside the skin, it loses its ability to hold on to moisture.
Unlike typical skin boosters, Laetigen uses high-purity type 1 collagen as its main ingredient.
Because it directly replenishes the very collagen that makes up most of the dermis, people who have experienced the Laetigen effect often describe it as “feeling like the skin is filling up from within with a firm, dense texture.”

The real Laetigen effect I check for myself
There’s something I always tell the people who visit GD CLINIC.
"The key is putting good ingredients in the right place."
The Laetigen effect I notice in practice can be summed up in three main points.
1. Immediate moisture retention |
Collagen holds moisture tightly, so the skin doesn’t dry out easily even in heater air. |
2. Softening of fine lines |
Areas that had caved in from a lack of collagen are filled in, leaving the texture smoother. |
3. Natural firmness |
Rather than artificial volume, the skin itself regains strength and looks plump. |

This is how GD CLINIC stays thorough!
Even with the same Laetigen, the effect you feel can vary greatly depending on who performs the injection.
Before the procedure, I personally check the patient’s skin thickness with my fingertips.
Thin areas like the eye area need more delicate injection, while wider areas like the cheeks need to be injected evenly.
Reassuring patients by saying, “You’ll feel a warm sensation and a slight snap like a rubber band,” and putting heartfelt care into every step—that is the principle GD Clinic follows.
"1-minute tip from the GD CLINIC director" On rainy or snowy days, adjusting indoor humidity is important, but after the Laetigen procedure, try applying your ‘recovery cream’ about 1.5 times thicker than usual before going to bed. It helps the collagen revived by the Laetigen effect settle in better. |
Of course, right after the procedure there may be tiny needle marks or slight redness.
But this is a natural reaction that occurs during the process of introducing healthy collagen, and it usually calms down within a day or two, so there’s no need to worry too much.
Before the snow falls, today’s air feels especially cold and dry.
